Genna Delaney set up her design practice in 2006, specialising in handmade bespoke jewellery. Genna’s first commercial 3D-printed jewellery collection was on sale at the Edinburgh Festival 2016. She is looking forward to using new materials and taking her work into international markets.
At art school Genna didn’t enjoy using 3D modelling programmes such as Rhino, finding them expensive and complicated. As the Scottish Coordinator of the Association for Contemporary Jewellery, Genna did some research into other 3D modelling systems. She discovered Anarkik3D in 2008 and fell in love.

“My jewellery had become 2D flat pieces and I wanted to create more 3D sculptural jewellery…
I applied for the Dundee Craft Makers Award to help push my work in a new direction and was awarded £660 to attend the Anarkik3D intensive course. I absolutely loved how simple and playful the programme was”
