Anarkik3DDesign is a 3D modelling system designed for jewellers, sculptors and other applied artists. It is easy to learn, intuitive and draws on the artist’s sense of touch.
The software is designed to work with a ‘3D mouse’. The one we use is the Falcon haptic device, which allows the artist to navigate naturally in 3 dimensions, giving tactile feedback about the virtual model. This is a more natural way of working for applied artists as it builds on their hard-earned handcrafting skills.
The models created are perfect for 3D printing. Once they are printed out, the artists hand finish them, sometimes using traditional techniques such as metalworking and hand finishing and stone setting to realise their vision.
